Agrotourism
Workshop!
This workshop,
“Agrotourism: from dream to reality”, which Desneiges
authored and is the instructor, has been a real success story. After
coaching groups from Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean, the Eastern Townships,
Centre-du-Québec, Magdalen Islands, Suroît and Bas-Richelieu, a
new group is planned for next fall in the Eastern Townships.

This workshop
targets the agricultural professionals wanting to add an agrotourism
segment to their existing farm, as well as those already involved in
agrotourism who wish to make their operation more effective or
simply add a new activity.
The workshop
includes 6 sessions of 7 hours, available in the
participants’ region. The subjects discussed range from
introduction to agrotourism, the client approach based on quality
and cost effectiveness, regulations and the human side of such a
venture.
In the wake of
this success, Desneiges was invited to elaborate and supply a custom
made workshop for the respondents in agrotourism form the Ministère
de l’agriculture and the Financière agricole in 2005. She was also
asked to put together seminars and custom workshops in agrotourism
in many regions of the province.
We are
currently putting together an extensive version of the
workshop about our own enterprise. Contact us if you would like to

UPA’s
Open Doors Event
In view
of the huge success of the UPA’s Open Doors Day in 2005, when
2000 people visited, in 2006, 3200 people, so we decided
to repeat the experience in 2007. Help us to beat this record; come
and visit us in droves, next September 09, between 10AM
